Director of Web DevelopmentTyler joined the Footsteps Web Development team after working on the project management side of the healthcare industry for four years while living on both the Virginia and North Carolina coastline. The transition from sea level to high altitude climate directly affected Tyler’s work. Whether this shift is advantageous is still yet to be decided. All of the sudden, website building was all he could think about; probably due to the want to represent the laid back and inspiring environment of Colorado, he decided that website development was hip and trendy. When you meet Tyler, you'll understand that "hip" and "trendy" are his two middle names. Wearing his winter conductor hat, with his trusty sidekick Piper-dog by his side, he comes into work daily and on time freshly jacked up by his morning coffee ready to organize.
Tyler has a borderline obsessive interest in organization, and loves helping others, whether that be a customer, fellow co-worker, or a budding relationship with a website/client. Outside of work Tyler dedicates his life to his loving fiancé and then everything that Colorado has to offer: Cycling, backpacking, and skiing in the Roaring Fork Valley.
Favorite vacation spot? The Outer Banks of NC. My wife's family has a small beach house on the coast of NC and it has been the perfect complement to our home in the Rockies.
Favorite Colorado getaway? Grand Junction, Fruita, & Loma! Leaving the alpine environment we live in and getting out to the desert for a backpacking or mountain biking trip is a great way to quickly get a complete change of scenery.
Favorite local hiking or biking trail? Red Hill / Mushroom Rock. Having this fantastic trail less than a mile from our office door makes getting a morning mountain bike ride in easy.
On weekends you can find me… Here in the Roaring Fork Valley! From Aspen to the Glenwood Canyon there’s always something fun to get into.
What's an item on your bucket list? A bike packing trip around the south island of New Zealand.
If I could have any superpower, it would be… The ability to pause time! I would take so many naps.
How would you describe the culture of FootSteps? Positive, supportive, and collaborative.
What do you enjoy most about working at FootSteps? This is a small company who’s employees are all empowered to make big decisions.
